Does anyone have any recommendations for non-LJ interesting blogs focused on things that I’m interested in? (all/any of them) I’m not that interested in blogs that are purely recapping or commenting on the latest anime, because in case you haven’t noticed, I don’t spend much time watching anime anymore.

I really like Reading Copy, which is the AbeBooks staff blog and always contains interesting links.
I also like The Old Foodie, which posts up an old recipe every day.

I enjoy reading “Uncle Orson Reviews Everything”. This isn’t actually a blog, but a column written by Orson Scott Card every week in the Rhinocerous Times, also posted in their online version and on Card’s website, Hatrack River at: http://www.hatrack.com/. And he really does review everything, though mostly books, movies and food/restaurants. This is my prime source for deciding whether to go see a movie or check out a book at the library beyond my list of favorite authors.
